Have yet to meet any Falcodores challenging at the lights though. It will happen though - in which case I'm letting Way take care of business ... he drives an E92M3 or X7M or something so I think he's more comfortable under pressure
I think he only really plays when he's in his GT3 hahaha or maybe the POGO APR GTI hehehe

No no, never play when in the Gt3 because you have everything to lose and nothing to gain. On the APRed Polo GTI on the other hand, I'm the one bating the V8 taxis hahaha.

Way, how's the gti treating you? Any inherent handling misfortunes? I am very keen to try one out in the near future (as an inbetween car).

Wow . . . that looks truly beautiful. Having serious VO envy.

BTW, didn't your car have only 4km on the clock? Has some naughty boy taken it out for an 8km spin?

I'm glad we don't get ///M dead pedals in oz, I hate the way that oval semi metallic one looks.

I personally prefer less bling on the floor. A few people wants the ///M mats, but I much prefer the plain ones.

Looks like someone did. I didn't really mind a mechanic take it for an extended test drive... but I will really be pissed off if the tinting company put more than 2kms on. How many kms where yours delivered at?

If you notice the pictures that show different shades, ranging from cooper to a deep red, the best way to describe what you see in person is those shades comes through and hit you at the same time. The colour is quite alive and dynamic. Different shade, different angle gives you a slightly different colour. I have to say, no pictures/video that I have seen come close at capturing the colour in person.

Hey Sparoz...
I noticed your 1M doesn't have under bonnet insulation.

Has anyone in Oz had their 1M delivered, that has under bonnet insulation fitted?

Don't want to start this topic debate on this post, but just curious with the 1M owners who have taken delivery to reply..
Thanks in advance.

Picked it up this AM, and managed to scrap the front skirt (ouch) getting out of the OB office.

The dealership had got some nice photos, but I haven't got them yet, but will post once I got them.

I haven't got a chance to really drive it yet as I was nursing some flowers from the dealership to work, and was taking my wife to see the OB this afternoon. So far so good - clutch a fraction shorter than the 135i, and the gear box is miles better. The car goes where I want it to go, but I am having a bit of problem adjusting to the throttle at the moment, and finding myself going much faster than the car in front off the line...

One thing to be careful of with the M button. Do not press it while accelerating as it instantly changes the throttle map.

Most importantly (well, not really, but it is good), I have a working comfort access!!
