Spotted Rowdy on the Sunshine Motor Way today. I just came out off the on-ramp, and spotted a space grey 1er and wonder if it's a forum member. Got the flash next and then saw Rowdy driving. Nice car!

I thought it was great. The DCT was excellent, and after driving it in Sport+ mode it was much quicker and satisfying than the auto in my 135. Didn't quick have the punch of my car but I'm sure with a tune it would be very nice. Suspension was stiffer too. I think it had active steering which took a little getting used to. Didn't like the steering wheel, ours is much better. So I'm not sure if I would buy one though, I do love the look of it. For $130k I could be in a second hand Cayman S. |

Still OT, the salesmen also tried to tell me that the Z4 will outhandle a Porsche easily... Didn't even say which Porsche, he said any! Said he was at a track day with the Z4 and a 911, and the customers were saying they were better in the Z4.
Nothing more I hate than a salesmen being massively biased. Said it a few times that the Z4 was the much better car. Cheaper yes, more powerful yes, but better handling?! And one more thing, all the 35i models apparently come with DCT correct? If this is so, why is DCT an option? If there is no other gearbox available, then it isn't an option and we shouldn't be charged for it! |

I'm not too sure about the new Z4 coming with no DCT option. I thought it was standard too |
