^^^ This car being a limited resource, availability is probably coming to an end. I think besides the few ones that are being sold by owner or at a markup by dealers, most cars already have owners and production is to end this month.

Well that makes no sense.... anyways, It probably has something to do with the cars getting scooped up, ALThough if you happen to be in touch with the right dealers there are still cars popping up due to buyers backing out after delivery AND you can get them for MSRP like i did however as the previous poster said i wouldnt expect that to last much longer. |

The dust is finally settling. It was an interesting ride while it lasted even though I did not end up with one.

While I wont say you will certainly find a car, I would definitely say don't give up just yet. The opportunities seem to come when you least expect them.

BMW of Escondido here in CA has one listed on their site for $54K and on Autotrader for $50K. I saw it on the lot today when I drove into work, so I called them up. Sales guy said that it wasn't for sale, that it's the Owners car. I asked why it was listed on their site and Autotrader. He came back with, "well everything is for sale and if someone really wants it and want to pay $20K over MSRP, that they would sell it." You have to be kidding me....."Well BMW is only bringing in 500 cars to the US and they're all are going for over MSRP." No their not, look on the boards. Thanks, but no Thanks. Anyway, it's white with both packages if anyone "really" wants it.

Got a call from the sales guy at BMW Escondido this week asking if I was still interested. Asked how much, was told $65K, MSRP on it is $55K. I said, thanks, but no thanks. At least they've come off the $20K markup.
