If the hood is 100% fit, you should post new pictures...

BUT, if the styling is right on the lip and side diffusers, then why not. Main reason being, the idea is to have the car look aggressive, modded, but classy, as if OEM. |

I was approached by STARCK, they told me they wanted to be a part of the build. From my meeting with them I know that they've been working on the R&D for their products for a little over a year and are to launch. They are mostly a performance company (DP's, intercoolers, exhausts) but also make carbon fiber and kevlar parts. They seemed EXTREMELY legit with everything so I agreed. Aside from that, that's all I know. That, and that I couldn't be happier with the results. |

Hmmm...interesting. What is the their pricepoint range? High, midlevel, or downright awesome? The inside joke is that the few vendors of CF parts that have had products for the 1er have had SERIOUS issues ranging from atrocious quality to great quality w/horrible customer service, to serious delays in product shipment (if it even ships). That is why STARCK are in a great position right now IF they have the stock and IF they have the customer service AND if they have the correct price point...just observations from someone who has been on the 1addicts site for a good long while....

This is how the 1M should have looked from the factory.......
Please take notes BMW M performance division. Great job on making 1M even more aggressive while keeping it classy.

Amazing pics and your 1M is stunning! That is how you properly mod an M car. Great job.

I think the only real danger lies with the ESS tune, like with any other tune. Reason being the dealership has something concise to blame for any problems and dismiss it as 'forcing the engine to perform out of its intended factory range'. But there's no better tune than the ESS. That I can promise you. Everything else is bolt on/off. So if you're really scared, then just take it off. I took it in for 1200 mile oil change and they didn't say anything... |

the icarbondesign.com website hasn't been renewed - icarbon's dead now? further hinting that Starck and iCarbon aren't so disconnected after all?

Perfection. The trunk makes the rear look even wider. This is how a project car should be done. The orange looks awesome with the cf bits. How much lighter are those wheels compared to the stock comp wheels. Also what size tires are you running now. Thanks and great job

Looks great! My dad is getting a VO too. You will have to share if the company is releasing any extra bits for the 1M guys (Hood)
More info on the tune?
