Missed this, here you go. Dirty car photos.
(In my defense it has been raining off and on all week)

Looks really nice. I like tinted glass on AW but haven't taken the time to get mine tinted yet.

I'm quite a fan, it ties into the shadowline trim, tail lights, tires, and BMW P spoiler rather nicely.

Looks sharp! I think 128i owners own a good 40% of Blacklines on 1additcs. Black-line Mafia represent
I think custom black or carbon vinyl inside the mirror cap groove will finish it off pretty well.

Be careful with the mods, after four years of ownership my car now looks like this. On the plus side I have only two more car payments left-it will be the first car I have ever paid off.
Suspension is Eibach/Koni FSD, BMWPF side skirts and exhaust, M3 front swaybar, Cool Carbon brake pads. Wheels were bought used from this site. |

Oh I know, it's an addiction.
Almost every car I've owned has been fairly seriously modded. My M3 was making ~60hp over stock with all the suspension goodies, the M5 had the full suspension setup as well with some other things, and the 1er is showing no signs of being any different.

Bumping the redline to 7400 seems like a poor plan to me.

Yeah, no hate for the 128i...except for the fact that I absolutely despise the front bumper. If the cars looked the same from the exterior I'd definitely consider one alongside the 135.
Awesome cars on this page. |

MSport makes it a 135i mirror, just go look at mine on the last page. All you need to do is delete the rather pointless fogs(at least if you have Xenons, they add almost no light).

My experience has been that factory red lines are not something you screw around with without extensive engine work, and even then it's pretty dumb for a DD.

Does this cause errors? Can you just unplug?

You can eliminate it via coding.

I'm pretty sure the guy in the uk wish custom cams and head and itb's goes over 8k Heck, apparently the 3.2 stroker kit has no issue to 7.5k without any other work |

Maybe pistons and ross, too. Race engine life spans are measured in hours. Just because you see it on a race car doesn't mean you can do it.

Exactly. I'm talking in terms of daily driver here, which is what this car is for the vast majority of us.

Not to mention that max lift is going to wear expensive components out much, much faster! Every aspect of the engine was designed around the redline they set for it. Increasing redline VASTLY increases engine wear. Specific to your lightweight block, increasing RPM creates lots of extra heat, which will quickly warp an alu/mag block.

They only adjust for efficiency, not for wear compensation Higher limit would increase wear like that if you held it on the limiter sure.. |
