Glad we could lend to your nightly entertainment. I trust we Massholes kept the nation quite captive yesterday evening as well. Amazing times. |

+10 At some point, the cigar and conversation at the pub, is more important than how you drove there... even if you aren't listening to what people are saying, because you're still grinning.. eh? |

Oh so this M1 isn't going to be a 2011 car being released in the coming 6-8 months, but rather a 2012 car being released in summer of 2011.
Well hell thats a bummer and why wait that long? It would be based on the 3-4 year old (in the U.S.) but a couple years older than that 1 series platform at that point?? I guess they don't have plans for a new 1 series chassis coming to the U.S. then until at least 2015, as doubtful they'd make this model M1 have a run of anything less than 3 years. |

And second, I think you are also faithfully describing the new M1. |

This looks like it will be quite a car! The price point will be the most interesting thing for me. (can I afford it!)

Not that I don't love my E82, but I guess I was hoping for a redesign of the body, mostly just to make it less disproportionally top heavy (in shape and weight), which i feel is the E82's main fault, IMO the M1 just looks lke a 135 with a slightly different bumper
really wish they could have taken design cues from the Vision EfficientDynamics Concept Last edited by ZER0_C00L; 01-21-2010 at 01:49 PM.. |

Carbon fiber roof removes some weight from the top. If they move the suspension and wheels out wider that will also help with the balance.

I put this image in another thread, but look at what a M1 (e82) could look like.

I like this render...
P.S. I'm going with either Inca Orange or Matte White.
