Well yeah, lol. I was talking about slower than usual.

Also, on a much more random note, I never set radio stations in my car because in this area I can only pick up gospel, country or hardcore rap (quite the odd selection, lol). So I never bothered with it, I always just used my iPod. Well, I took my iPod out of the car when I dropped it off yesterday, and I keep forgetting to put it back in. I found out that my radio had a bunch of relatively good radio stations I could never pick up before, all saved to memory. I was going thru them today, its a range of stations for different tastes, but I never got them before. Im happy I finally have radio stations to listen to now, haha.

I don't know how they got there, but I'm not complaining, lol.

^regarding fuel economy...I've driven the 1er w/ the PPK a lot since getting it installed a few weeks ago. I have nt noticed any change in fuel consumption (city or hwy).
The PPK is a nice upgrade...700.00 for a power boost, burble, and no fears of bringing it in to the dealer and hearing "your warranty is void cause you have a aftermarket tune".

Yeah neither, still average about 19.5 city/highway combined also engine temp seems to hover between 230-240 pretty much same as before.

That's the problem, I can't get myself to drive like a lil girly boy so I don't really know if it will get the same mileage. Out cruising on the highway (cruise control on) it will still get in the upper twenties so I imagine it is possible to get upper teens around town. In San Francisco with all the hills that becomes a bit tougher though.

Finally got a reply from my SA, the recall was performed before the tune was, which I figured because it feels like the throttle response feels different.

Just got a quote from my dealer here in Honolulu $750 installed for the stage 1 PPK on a 2011 135i N55. Seriously thinking about pulling the trigger on this.

Your stock numbers seemed pretty damn low..do you have any other mods at all or are you completely stock?

I was under the impression that STOCK, the N54's were around 275-280whp and 290ish tq... Might wanna check on that

Wow that's way more than the claimed figures from BMW. N54 or N55?

Confused. What's with the drastic drop-off at approx. 5800 RPM? Unless that print-out is wacky, it looks like power levels drop below stock .

Like I mentioned in one of my previous posts- I'm feeling a huge power drop around 6000 and actually hear boost dumping. I never felt this drastic drop in my 2011 that didn't have the PPK. Sounds like time for a trip to the dealer.

Nice. Thanks for posting.

Score one for the conspiracy theorists who thought the BMW numbers might be conservative.

I guess due to the DCT launch control feature, most N55 0-60 times are very similar to those of the N54.
