The first 1000 edition of 1:43 BMW 1er M Coupe are accounted for.
A new batch will arrive later in August.

Especially at M the 1M miniatures are very popular and even more so @ BMW. Plus the 20-so BMW employees who purchased the car got their miniature representation as did some customers in Germany. Some units left found their way into the distribution network but were quickly taken. The BMW M3 GTS in 1:43 scale was also in a similar fashion. Ltd for 1000 Pieces and then released again. It was the same for the 750 Pieces 1:43 BMW Vision Efficient Dynamics car for the IAA Frankfurt 2009. My advice would be to watch the BMW.de/.com shop as the model will be available there.

I e-mailed three dealers in Munich today about the diecast models and they referred me to the BMW lifestyle website - of course, there are no 1M's there ..... |

The Vision Efficient Dynamics car (1:64 scale) part number is: 80452209951 The bad news is you might have to buy twelve since that is the way they come to each dealer. The model is cheap at only a few euros. Dackel |

The Vision Efficient Dynamics in 1/43 was only produced for the IAA in 2009 of 750 pieces only. I am afraid that the 1/43 model is no longer available but some I have seen on ebay.de fetch up to 500 euros.
Because I worked with the marketing for the Vision Efficient Dynamics , I received some as gifts for thanks. I also have two at home and one in each of offices and temporary office. This picture was taken back in 2009 when I first received them just before the IAA in Frankfurt. The Vision Efficient Dynamics is available but only in 1:64 scale.

Thanks for the update Scott.
Here are two pics of my Vision Efficient Dynamics model. It is not as nice and detailed as Scott's... but it is mine! |

Question.
Will there be country specific versions? I notice the ones in Germany are BMW 1er M Coupe, will this be the same for other markets or will the UK have BMW 1 Series M Coupe? Thanks, Mark. |

Holy sh*t, I just bought the same one for £65. Better get buying the others they had available LOL.
£175, they must be having a laugh and the 450 is a lie. The site I just bought it from 1 minute before you responded said there were a thousand as confirmed by Scott. Ar$eh0les. Just like the 1M prospecters. |

Well, it appears there could be two manufacturers.
Minichamps and Jada Toys. Both cars look identical. I know nothing about either TBH except that I have heard of Minichamps but I have never heard of Jada Toys. The shop I bought my Jada Toys car from suggests 1000 pieces and that it is the BMW dealer version. Scott, can you clear this up? There's as much confusion here as the car itself! Cheers, Mark. |
