Congrats on the allocation.
White, black wheels, fire extinguisher, sport chrono w/ track precision, free options (badge delete, black wing uprights, bigger fuel tank). That's it- light weight buckets are back-ordered and would have meant waiting until next year, and PCCB wear rate continues to be too high, didn't delete AC because California is hot. Euro delivery, Zuffenhausen.

72k miles on the 1M in less than four years, we'll see if I can beat that...

Ours are similarly spec'd although you have an allocation and I do not

Dan Neil did a good writeup of the car in the WSJ and ended it with a description of his spec: "I would have to have the guard-red seat belts, for I am not an animal..."

Unless I can convince my girlfriend to drive it... I already have three cars, she has two, and we only have three spots at the house, which would mean the 1M would need to go into long term storage. Better to let it be free...
I see that one of those three is an R32... if that's the R32 of VW origin, I am going to go ahead and suggest you sell it and not the 1M...

Congrats on the GT4 allocation.

LOL... no question, though the R32 does make a capable SUV. Unfortunately that's already on long-term loan to my mother, and isn't part of the count.

Hahha I can understand you giving up the 1M since you have that other 69 cup car monster lurking . Should be a hoot to drive (assuming its road legal of course)

Yes, street legal. It's an ax murderer.

Thanks guys. As you can see I have a mild addiction, and the GT4 isn't going to help any. The 1M may need to go to keep me from going over the edge...
unless I manage to pawn it off on another unsuspecting friend or relative...?

Pete if it goes let me know about your 1M. Is it a track car?

Guys, this could be the perfect match: a true petrolhead taking very good care of his motoring marvels helping another forum fellow out to get back behind the 1M wheel - getting it another good home.

Fringe benefit: you both are located only a few hours away. No need to ship from China.

But nachob, if you want one of the best 1M cars on the planet, then consider the one of ace11. It's a class act.

Thanks, yes that is A W E S O M E but loaded, though hard-core at the same time. Quite a paradox. I'm actually hoping to find a stock one or very close which is why I was asking if it's a track car.

I think the GT4 is awesome and more than worthy replacement for the 1M. I also think it's again about driving fun and I think the Cayman looks more modern too. Ace 11s car Looks amazing for sure.

Just put the build spec in for my GT4. Chosen Guards red. Will still keep the 1M as it is such a great car.

I don't think you'd want my car- if I were you I'd be looking for a low miles stripper, and mine is neither: 72k and fully loaded. It has however never seen the track and has recently been gone through (injectors, new trans, media clean of the head, etc) so it will make a solid car for someone if and when it goes.

Thanks. Yes. I'm looking for
Striper. Low miles nice but depending on price I'm flexible. Thanks for getting back to me and congrats in gt4!
