The new lights, front and back, don't look near as good as the older ones in my opinion. I seen two on the road last weekend and it's not as clean looking to me. I would hate to waste the money on the new ones

I prefer my lights don't have to spend another 300...

that it will be plug and play regardless of the year model? And the only ones who need coding are the non Xenon/Non Led Ones? Makes sense.... Last edited by Sea4tec; 05-21-2011 at 11:30 AM.. |

@toto4dwin - do you have Xenons? And did you retrofit LED or non-LED tail lights? |

Start the engine and press AND hold the trip reset button down for 15 secs. After seven secs, you will get into the resetting service due lights - KEEP holding down the trip reset button. Then the center display will change and then you can toggle thru the BC menu.

I seen one right before it turned dark and the other around 10:30pm...Def. not worth the money IMO since the older lights still look so great..

Sorry. Was away on assignment. I installed the LCI tailights on a Oct 2008 built 125i. Front xenon was standard from factory. It was a simple replacement. The car was checked at our local agent, no error code display. I'll scan a copy of the diagnostic printout for you when I get back. I've also ordered a pair of LCI front headlights at 600 euro each. Expecting to arrived in 3 weeks. Will keep you posted |

Well I'll find out tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. The diagnostics would be good for interest sake if you feel like scanning :P Also was gonna get headlights, but will work out to 3000+ euro for me since I have stock halogens and would need new module, coding, retrofit kit etc etc. Enjoy it dude! |

We've looked at the parts that made-up the LCI tailight assembly. The bulbs, sockets and holders are identical for all production schedule regardless of xenon option. We did it on a Oct 2008 built. Don't see why not for the rest.
