invite to join us
doing a Davos to Stelvio Pass run in June 2012....join us.
Bring your 1series........ Looking at our current list, lots of 125/128/135s but only a couple 1Ms so looks like we could use some European 1Ms to join us. I'll be driving my VO 1M...lots of photo shoots. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=596067 Before June though we'd like to do a day at SPA. Anyone got good information they could post on the European forum? |

Hey there, I did Spa Public driving experience 2 times in 2010, it's not so expensive (215€) for 4 runs of 25'. You're invited to book early because it is sold out most of the time but sometimes people cancelled days before so you can check the weather to try to book days before. You have to be at the morning speech for security reasons, only road tyres (or semis) are accepted. Only road cars too . I remember some GT3's and GT3 RS, R8, Gallardo, SLK AMG, KTM X-Bow, Gt-R, but also some casual cars with less BHP, people who only wants to put their car on the Spa track for pleasure. I will be there 1 or 2 times in 2012 for it, see u there maybe If you want I've got some pictures of it.....

Hi farmaceutica75! Made up your mind already regarding the color? If you can't chose between AW and BSM, then go for VO. Alike white, black or cayenne pepper: guess what's the hottest.

now i'm thinking BSM i've seen all colours several times and they ALL look great the black may hide some of the cool lines and details but still has enough muscle and is stylish, more low profile that is also important for me... i'll have the fun without the gossip ps: i have confirmation from the dealership: if someone has an iPhone and did not go for the expensive bmw sat nav screen you can get the iPhone station on the 1M... you can use the iPhone in landscape as a mediacenter on your dash... i would love to see a one series with the iPhone station to make sure it looks okay when the iPhone is not in there... it might save me an expensive sat nav option |

nope, just found out I got to pay another 2750 net-taxes as it is a company car
also: stock-wise it already outperforms our 911carrera4 so: enough power for now might change my mind after testing a akra-specced car though never say never

Beware of the recent rules regarding tuning: Ministeriële Omzendbrief van 12 maart 2010 betreffende sommige verbouwde voertuigen (cat. M1) (Belgisch Staatsblad 26 maart 2010, p. 19241):
http://www.wegcode.be/secties/omzend...1144-mo-120310 It's a long list of "don'ts"... Manufacturer warranty and car insurance (recourse after indemnifying a victim) could be at stake if something hazardous happens due to the modifications. |

Try the German specs list to have an idea - price differences with those applicable in Belgium are minor:
http://www.bimmerpost.com/forum/atta...9&d=1294251458 MSRP for a max loaded 1M in Belgium = EUR 63,310.00. |
