Looks the goods mate! Can't wait to see it in person!

I'm really surprised they don't reset the mileage back to 0.. Their systems have a function to reset the K's down to 0 if it's less than 50 (or 25, i can't remember)

Congratulations and I'm sure you're very proud of your new pet Sparoz, but:
VO = loud
"ONE M" = louder
VO + "ONE M" = ?!

Is this just for track purposes?

No, although the ONE M plate was not going on till DD duty is over in a couple of years.

The dealer want to have the plates for some photos and for delivery, but when my wife and I saw the plates on the car we though it deserves to be on there.

VO + ONE M is only loud in the cities, as people don't really care in the regional areas . No one seems to look at my car on the Sunny Coast, but as soon as I took it to Brisbane yesterday, it became a celebrity! Now, I understand why Patrick Rafter choose the Sunshine Coast to live in .

Need some more shots from other angles but the rears look too big. How wide are they? 10s? Fronts don't look too bad.

Quick note about the fuel economy - it is doing better than my 135, and I have been driving in fourth and third at least half the time on the highway running the car in! The drone between 2100-2500 is sort of annoying though - hopefully it goes away soon.

Haven't done much freeway driving during run-in but I can confirm the drone, I think it's abating somewhat as the klms mount. I find it hard to believe that BMW couldn't engineer this out somehow. Maybe it does abate to the point that it is not an issue so BMW has left it rather than compromise the exhaust sound or performance in some way. Time will tell.

Car is in for its' run-in service. 1M owners make sure that your service dept is clued up about the special oil for the gearbox. It is hard to get, only packs in 1 ltr containers and is apparently $55.00 per litre. God I hope it lasts a long time. Same with the diff oil. Liquid gold. Oh well.

Anybody's brakes sqeaking, like a racing compound pads type of sqeak when you pull up at the lights say?

Hopefully this is so - as no one seems to be complaining about it apart from new owners. Wonder if NPV and Lava has the same problem. May be I am not driving the car fast enough!!

or you could just buy an akrapovic exhaust and eliminate the problem all together!

Thinking about it - but my wife had a dream a few weeks ago that she was divorcing me because I went to Melbourne and spent about 20k on something.

Sounds like akra @ southernbm to me

You guys are crazy to think about spending that much money on the akra exhaust, especially if you plan to keep the rest of the car stock!! I'd get a set of AR DP's and call it a day. I'm sure that would sound awesome with the OEM 1M quads.
