Hahaha true! People say that.

I dunked my iPhone at the causeway crossing at Glenwood in the Blue Mountains after a 60k mountain bike ride.

Well to be honest, the water was fucking flowing over the causeway and it swept me off the bike! Along with my phone and car keys. (read fell off arse over and got dunked fully submerged in the water).

Immediate thought was. "Fuck, there goes the phone... Oh well... Shit."

About 20 seconds later it was. "Fuck. There goes the car keys... Which is the only one I have because the other was stolen... Replacement is on order... Eta two weeks. ****** *****!!!!!".

Believe it or not, phone still works! (So do the car keys).

Oh and for the record, I'm not saying U-boats are better/worse than anything as I don't really know enough about them :-)

My point is, if people like something and they think it's worth it, then they should get it. Even if something is 'technically' not as good as something else. Everyone see's value in different things.

But I will say this, some people buy for the brand recognition more so than others (aka Rolex/iPhone).

Ps- Not saying Rolex's or iPhones are bad products, just saying that some people will buy products like these for their name more than their tangible qualities...

I can't decide which watch! I showed some people a couple photos and they don't like any of the U-Boats. I'm not sure if this will suit me either... think I need to see one in person first.

Okay cheers mate, will do.

What are your thoughts on Tag? I have one from years ago, doesn't get much wear but it does suit me.

Sydney dealership is through Gregory's. I vowed I'd never give them another cent after they wouldn't exchange an Omega Seamaster I'd bought from them as a gift for another Seamaster in stock (the purchased watch had never been worn and still had the plastic wrapping around the watch face)

I'll go direct.

Cheers
Ben

What he can offer is free UPS Express delivery.

Let me know thoughts?
Has Gert been keeping up with the global economic happenings?

The reality is only other watch fans ever notice or give a shit. It's a middle class conceit.

I am planning on buying à watch there but since they don't stock uboat and the watches are being sent straight from uboat itself in italy according to them u am curious on how the experiences are with this seller.

Ian has bought from them previously, I wouldn't think you would have an issue. Considering you are in Holland.
