Wonder what is going to happen to the driver? Unpaid leave, warning, fired? If uppermanagement is shady just like the person driving then I do not see much done to the driver of the 1M.

I have to admit, I was in the "who cares" camp. Yeah, it was a dck move, but an expected one. The first time I had a valet park my e46 at a hotel, my wife later commented that the valet "really liked the car." She saw him hotrodding around, much the way I do, and we had a good laugh.

You guys changed my mind. It was a big deal. Nice work getting it resolved (hopefully).

Yes, a BMW engine can take some abuse and still live.
Yes, it is tempting to take a brand new 1M for a spin.
Yes, there are alot of retards in this world and some of them end up at car dealerships.
No, I dont rev the engine on my 1M when the oil temp gauge hasn't even moved.

Why is that racist, but conjecturing that he’s white isn’t?

When a police report says “a white [or Hispanic or Black] male was seen fleeing the scene,” do we call the police racist? No - there’s nothing racist about conjecturing about a person’s race, based on your OBSERVATION of them. We do it all the time.

Now, had the poster said, “Abusing other people’s property? Must be Armenian!”, that would, most likely, be racist. But to simply conjecture on someone’s possible racial/ethnic heritage, based on seeing them - nothing racist about that.

If you didn’t have a problem with the “white guy” comment, then you’ve proved my point.

I think the issue of race shouldn't have even been a factor in judging the person in the video. I thought it was negative when someone assumed he was some "white guy" and just as bad when someone else suggested he was "Armenian or Persian".....case closed
