Per fe1rx, there's a double 90-degree aircraft flare wrench (Rapco RA716) that is only $27 and works well for this application. I have the wrench, but not doing the brake lines until later this spring, so I can't speak firsthand, but I trust the source.

oooooo tool pr0n......

unitaskers they may be, but I loves me a nice purpose-built tool....

Installed the new seat belt and rear speed sensor yesterday. Today, I drove my 135 to the office with no (NO!!!) error codes.

Cleaned, polished, and installed summer wheels. Also replaced locking lug bolts with regular bolts.

Just gotta clean and coat the rest of the car next weekend.

Unitasker be damned! Ordered one. The whole SS lines thing is basically unnecessary, but I like the idea of them and now that I'm 66% there i really just want to finish it.

I hear the sky is gonna go pitch black on Monday, too! But after that the temperatures look okay, so I might swap my tires next week.

It's been a minute since I've been on this forum and man, you guys are still hard at it!! Impressive to see everything that been going on. I'm several 100 pages behind. Great to see all the different builds going on!

As for me, my '13 128 e88 has been just sitting the garage for over a year and not received much love. I've culled part of my car ownership and now I'm down to just a few cars and the 128 will start to be driven more. Over the last few months its received some maintenance.

new water pump and t-stat
new oil pan gasket
new valve cover gasket
new OFHG
new coils
new plugs
new front sway bar
new autox wheels and tires
drain and fill on the auto trans

Right now it needs a serious wash and wax, but with all the pollen around here, it's pretty pointless. Looking forward to getting this back out on the road again...

Anything fancy going on?

Put 4 brand new MP4S tires on the car. It did cost a pretty penny but I figured it might be time since the last tires on the car were from 2015 and the steel wires were starting to show lol 😂

The driving difference is night and day. Such a smooth ride now.

nothing fancy... Staying in street/stock class, so very limited in mods. Only item of note is the front sway bar. Since the car only has 68k miles on it, I'm not ready to do dampers yet. I did pickup some falken 660's, so we'll see how those work on course. Really wanted another set of stones re71rs, but they didn't have the size I wanted. The re71s are an amazing autox tire....

Anyone else here waiting for blackline tail lights? I ordered a pair back in Jan, and have watched the estimated shipping date go from Feb/14 to 3/15 then 4/3 and now 6/4. Does anyone know of a US distributor that they recently purchased a set from? I might try a UK vendor and see how that goes.

Also any Michelin PS5 owners here? thinking of getting a set here soon in 225/50 17.

Monday:

- upper rad hose
- oil cooler return line
- mickey mouse flange
- DCT Filters / pan / fluid
- oil change + frsh coolant

Big relatively expensive day!

Still need a cornering lamp (stupidest thing ever), steering rack boots, alignment, track wheels + brakes. Hopefully after that I'll be happy with the car for a bit.

Ordered my race car a Tillett C1 Carbon/Grp Racing Seat for the driver side and a Tillett B6 Screamer Carbon/GRP Racing Seat for the passenger side and had the carbon tinted Candy Apple Red like they do on Hypercars. Stay tuned for some installed pics!
