Im considering this upgrade too for my N54. Planning to do the DCIs, Chargepipe and PCV valve as preventative maintenance.

Dinan stage 1 (tuned at about 120k) N54. Funny thing is I had actually ordered a 2009 128. Dealer called me about 6 weeks into the order and told me he just got a 2008 135 (with same options and zero % interest) if I was interested. Drove it the next morning and it felt at the time like more power than I needed. Glad I took the leap😎

Drove back from Pittsburgh to Rochester after picking up my daughter and got about 30 min north when this happened. She got hit on Monday and her car is not drivable so I went to pick her up. Inside edge of tire had a huge gash. Of course I had no spare so had to get it towed to a local tire shop. They were great and had a correctly sized tire in stock to get us home. Now I need to file a road hazard claim with tire rack and get a new tire installed before my next AutoX which probably won't happen now. I should be good for my next HPDE in a month.

Finally got the vrsf charge pipe all buttoned up. Gave it a quick startup and no major leaks. Hopefully take it for a test drive tonight.

I see lots of charge pipe activity.
I loved my ERCP (Evolution Racewerks) for 9 years / 100k mi.
It's still in great shape, but now catches the eye of the smog inspectors in CA.
Replaced with CARB-Exempt COBB.
If anyone's interested in the ER, it's up for grabs in the marketplace. Good deal; but will entertain any offer before I throw it out due to moving in a couple weeks. (Still withiin CA.)

Installed the DCI and replaced my PCV valve as preventative maintenance. It looks like it had the original. Cas has 115k miles. Not sure if it has changed before. Took it for a spin. All good. 👍 🍻

Haven’t driven enough to say definitively how big of an impact, but the m-sport suspension is a floaty mess on its best day and this initially feels like it’s tightened up a bit.

Not really the way this thread is supposed to work but, as the owner of a 128i 6MT M-sport for several years and a BMW owner for nearly 25-years, your description of the m-sport suspension is inaccurate and unhelpful. But then it all depends on your purpose and to what you are comparing.

I was selling new BMWs when the E30 M3 came out and everyone wanted to change the suspension saying it was too soft. Even the 325is at the time had Sport Bilsteins and a much firmer ride. But which one handled better? Friends at BMW said they used the Bilstein Sports on the "is" because of the expectations of the owners of what a "sports car" should feel like. On the M3 they got to do what they knew worked best and chose Boge gas shocks. Years later many people have asked me what we did with all those OE suspension components we took off the E30 M3—sometimes at delivery by customer request. Well, they all seemed to make it to my storage shed and many M3 experts tell me that it now a valuable upgrade to an E30 M3—to put it back to stock!

I drove the first E30 M3 home the night it rolled off the truck. My normal drive in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains was a challenging one but my initial impression when leaving the dealership driveway was it was impossibly soft—until I hit the twisties. It was an eye-opening experience for someone raised on 2002tii with Bilstein sports and lowered springs and having driven my personal demo E30 325is models for years. I'll never forget it.

So, to each their own, and back to what you did today to your car.

Installed new injector seals, repaired pin hole leak on oil cooler line, rebuilt the hpfp, and went for a spin up my favourite pass.
