Doubt that'll stick very well, because of all the various textures and embossing on the sill. Even if it sticks, it won't look good.

No 1M, but I have those same door sills. I have kids that ride in the backseat and as I reminded them today, "Don't step on the door sills, step over them".

1-series is low enough that even small kids don't need to step up onto them and can easily step from street to rug. I was getting sick of seeing scuff marks and dirt.

To be clear, I think we all want our cars (and yours) to stay in the condition they were on day 1. Before the fun turns to a forum e-war I just want to make that clear. Keeping a car in pristine condition while still having fun driving is a very fine line. I just watched Ferris Buellers Day Off the other day and it still brings tears to my eyes when the Ferrari goes out the window.
