Legends of the Autobahn & Vintage Racing, June 15-16 Mosport

Legends of the Autobahn Concourse Show and Driving Event is organized by the Toronto Section of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America, in collaboration with the BMW Clubs Canada - Trillium Chapter, the Upper Canada Region of the Porsche Club of America and the Vintage Automobile Racing Association of Canada.

All BMW cars are invited to be part of the Canadian Historic Grand Prix weekend at the newly renovated Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (Mosport Grand Prix) race track. Upon entry to the Mosport grounds, owners are cordially requested to park in the Legends of the Autobahn Corral were they will be greeted with a complementary gift bag. Now they have the option of having their car on a “corral” type display or to compete for one of the 3 Class awards by having it expertly judged by BMW judges in the Saturday Concourse (Corral parking is open both Saturday and Sunday).

The attraction of a car show that combines major German car marques is evident with the rising success of “The Concourse”; the same name held now for three years during the Monterey Historic Car Week. However, holding just a car show is not enough for our Canadian Edition of Legends of the Autobahn. We go a step further by offering participants various additional attractions and driving events during the weekend.

Firstly, there is the opportunity to watch the racing activities that take place during the Canadian Historic Gran Prix now in its 34thyear, with historic race cars from over 6 decades competing in various classes over the course of the weekend. Next is the option to partake in a scenic navigational road rally through the surroundings of the Durham Region on Saturday morning and to enter the Concourse and Corral upon return. Sunday attendees will have the chance to experience the famous Grand Prix track in the Parade and finally, drivers can immerse themselves to the fullest by taking their machines on some “Hot” Touring Laps – fast, but safe. Helmets are not required and passengers are allowed. What other car show gives you the opportunity to take your automobile on a race track?

General admittance to the Canadian Historic Grand Prix is required, but participant of the Legends of the Autobahn will get a significant discount. The entrance fee is $20.00/car/weekend irrelevant of the number people on board. Payable in cash upon entry of the Mosport grounds (regular admittance is $35/person/weekend).
On this page you will be able to register your BMW automobile to any one or more of available events:

Legends on the Hunt

Weather is looking beautiful for this weekend... anyone interested in attending this show? There'll be some great racing to watch during the show. The show gets you a discounted entry fee to the VARAC Vintage race weekend ($20/car vs. $20/person)
