Im going wheels and new summer tires first. Ditch the runcraps, they suck.

Then go suspension.

Suspension First you have the wheels already on it. Rims 2nd!!!! Why I say this your car will look like a 4x4 if you get wheels like 19s!!! Take a look at the photo section and see all the 4x4s and the ones with suspensions.

get wheels first then coilovers... that way you only have to set it up at the right height and everything one time
o yeah and +1 for staying with 18 inch

If your going OZ, go 18X8 on all for wheels. The 18x9s dont quite fit in the back. They rub a bit on the inner side of the fender...but if your willing to roll go ahead and get em because they look fantastic.

just a quick question, and may be off topic, but how heavy are run flat tires, compared to other tires, sorry for not specifying any brands, I am a noob, and I'm probably getting tires in the summer as my run-flats are starting to wear out, so I was just curious as to where the run flats stand in weight compared to other regular performance tires

the stock 135i tires are 24lbs front and 26lbs rear i believe, not sure on the 128i tires- go to tirerack.com, enter your car then go for the OE tires and they will spit out the goodyears- click on them and click on specs and you'll get the weights

eh screw it I did it for you- if you have the goodyears, both front and rear are 26lbs, if you have the pirellis the fronts are 24 and the rear 27

IMO.. I would go with tires/rims first.. reason unless you are going with custom wheels there is a big chance you might rub or encounter different problems... this way you can judge by the wheel/tire setup to see if you want to even lower it.. either with just springs or coilovers.. I will be going 19's and seeing some other members with those sizes on the 135i sports suspension it still looks decent..

So if I were to get contisport contact 3 which way only 19 lbs would that be too light cause this would reduce the weight by 28 lbs and I'm not sure about this but there is a mechanical advantage of 4 so technically this was add 102 hp? But that sounds way too big of a # to be true
