59 and AUTO, but it is my wifes car. Yes, she loves that 135 Vert. We both learned to drive stick years ago, when it was mounted on the column! It is just easier in the Chicago area ruish hour traffic, but I would not have a problem if she wanted her 135 with the MT.

29 yrs old. M/T.
Nothing wrong with an automatic, but never for a little rocket car like the 1 series. Thats a crime. People who have a physical handicap are of course excluded from my comment!!!

26, manual
manual definitely makes the driving experience more involving, plus with the manual hill assist it's an extra bonus in peak hour trafic too |

A little recap as of current posts: Average Age: 34. 56 Manual VS 15 Auto. My math may be a little of--but it is close enough for government work.
Also noted: No comments from any runners. Nick |

42, auto w/paddles - can't say I miss having a manual clutch in DC area traffic... but downshifting with the paddles comes in handy. The steptronic in DS mode is pretty nice off the line and otherwise, I find the standard D mode fine for everyday around town driving.

24 Auto , it will be here in 2 weeks. If I had another car this surely would have been a manual I was really torn, but have to work 10 hours per day and then sit through traffic doesn't seem very pleasing with a manual.

It is interesting fact that in countries as Russia or India you can’t buy a car with auto from a domestic car maker, so you can get auto only from imported cars that are obviously more expensive and prestigious. Situation in US is simple opposite if you want a prestige, take an imported car with manual.
