What is the name of the tire brand to replicate this meaty look of 1m

Browsing this awesome thread http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...8#post11667038

I found the look on this 1m attractive, I recall only seeing something like this once on a non 1m

Any info on this set up? How can I replicate it that is street legal.

Front fender says Toyo Tires. Seems like that should get you where you need to go.

I think that might be a grooved Rcomp.

:edit:

Yep, those look like Toyo Proxes R888 to me

Ahhh... yes the R888 I believe these are intended to be the eventual successor to the RA-1. They look even more rain ready than the RA-1s! I haven't used the R888 but, I am on my gazillionth set of RA-1s (on my mostly track RX-7) I can tell you the RA1s last about 12,000 miles and I wouldn't even think about driving over a water puddle on the freeway with them. The R888s do look totally awesome, if impractical for daily driving.

For DD I think Dunlop Star Specs would be a tire with a nicely squared shoulder for that meaty look you are asking for.

Not to mention the insane amounts of dry grip an Extreme Summer tire will give you.

For a DD this may be the ticket.

Seems the Toyo is a track tire...
Thank you all who have helped

That looks fantastic!
Do you have a side profile shot? I didnt see any in your recent posts.
Are you running any spacers & would stock sport suspension height cause any rubbing?
