I'd run a "true dual" setup, but I wouldn't want to add extra un-needed piping! I'd rather have a true dual exiting out the one side, it'd weigh less than a quad-tip dual exhaust system.

Ditto. I wouldn't do it solely for the look. Ti exhaust ftw :drinking:

Gotta say, that looks better than I could have imagined. Not a big fan of a "pipe for each cylinder," but that looks good.

i know a lot of people will disagree with me but i'm getting very much over the dual sided exhaust look. it seems sooo like a well-played-out trend at this point. makes me appreciate the single sided dual exhaust look of the 135i that much more.
jmo of course. :respekt: |

that's a hot hatch... but pretending to be an ///M car iritates me. If BMW does decide to do an" ///M1" , they should just have an ///M badge like the z4 roadster/coupe. I don't know if this is true... but Car and driver said bmw is planning on making an //M version powered by a turbo 4??? c'mon bmw add cylinders, don't take them away! A quad exhaust on a turbo 4 would sound like schiete too.

Quad no but double dual maybe... I had a huge 3.5 inch turbo xs on the Sti and will def be keeping this car on the quiet side ....plus the black chrome exhaust is hot!
