Discounted Escort / Beltronics Radar Detectors
I have an opportunity to purchase the below products at employee pricing and wanted to offer that to my fellow members: The first number is the retail price. The second number is the discounted price, including tax, paypal fees, and shipping both ways (They have to ship to me then I have to forward to you - I'm working on drop shipment so they get to you faster). When I ordered mine, I had it the next business day. I'm not guaranteeing that quick turnaround but noting that so you know they are pretty quick at processing these orders. Passport 9500ix $ 499.95 $ 400.00 Passport 9500i $ 449.95 $ 375.00 Passport 8500 X50 Red $ 309.95 $ 275.00 Passport 8500 X50 Blue $ 349.95 $ 300.00 Solo S2 $ 339.95 $ 290.00 STi Driver $ 499.95 $ 400.00 PRO RX65 Red $ 339.95 $ 290.00 PRO RX65 Blue $ 379.95 $ 330.00 Please PM me if interested or email me directly at bill.perilli@gmail.com if you have questions. Otherwise, you can also just send payment to me through paypal at bill.perilli@gmail.com. Just specify which model you want and the quantity, as you can order more than one if you want to get them for friends and family or flip them on ebay and make a few bucks. Thanks for looking. www.escortradar.com www.beltronics.com |

Sorry, can only get what I listed. I have the 9500x and am thoroughly impressed, especially in Md with speed and red light cameras everywhere. It warns you when you are approaching them.

I believe most of the will, but please do your own research.
I have the 9500ix and it warns me when I'm coming up to a speed trap. It has a data base that is linked via GPS and people report speed traps, red light cameras, speed cameras, etc. You can hook it up to the computer via USB and download updates. Its pretty awesome. My wife was even impressed and she can normally care less about gadgets. One thing I will warn that this does not protect against, and no radar detector can protect from this....if a cop does not have his laser on, and he quickly flips it on as you pass, your nailed. No radar can detect a laser that isn't turned on, obviously. So once he flips it on, your radar will go off, but its too late. The only protection against this is the ultra expense laser shifters, which are also ultra illegal. Bill |

The discount is indefinate at this point. I'm assuming at some point, they will take the priveledge away if they notice that I'm ordering too many. But then again, maybe not. They are still making a profit on them and potentially selling units that might not have otherwise been sold. So I can't really answer that question. Time will tell.

Misinformation

Third laser shifters are NOT Illegal unless specifically legislated that way in a specific state. And the vast majority of states have NOT made them illegal - therefore they are currently legal in MOST states. Check manufacturesrs websites for a state by state listing. |

My point was, no radar detector will protect against lasers. I should have been more direct and to the point.
I thought laser shifters were illegal. I'm quite shocked that they are not. But I guess that's good news for the people actually willing to spend a ton of money on them. Probably worth it in the long run though.... |
