1M Conversion Question - Side Skirts (Flares, not OEM Quarter)

For anyone who has done this using the Jay Meadow flares...The black tracks/clips that support the rear of the side skirts. Have you modified those? The section where the new skirt extends out isn't contacting those clips at all. I'm considering trying to bring them out using spacers behind them but not sure yet. I'm assuming most people don't do anything with them and just run a screw through the rear of the skirt up into the flare to support it but not sure, no one seems to talk about this part of it.

No one? This would be the rear "supporting ledge" according to RealOEM but they're the same part number so I have to assume that this section of the actual metal body on the 1m is flared in this area.

I would assume you need to connect it to the flare with a custom tab. There won't be any true support as the inner fender is absent in this case and the body shell was extended with the Jay Meadows flare.
