There is no owner's manual specific for the PPK.

Welcome to 1ADDICTS!

As zx10guy said, there is no owners manual specific for a PPK equipped 135i, but here is a link to the US owners manual. Noticed you're in South Africa and don't know how different the cars are there from the US version.

Also, which version of PPK do you have? PPK1 is software only and PPK2 is the same software plus some extra cooling hardware.

If you have any questions about PPK or your car in general, ask here and hopefully someone can answer your questions or steer you in the right direction.

I have the PPK 1 installed on a 2013 135i - the biggest change from stock is that spark plugs are now replaced at 45,000 miles ( ~ 72,000 km) instead of 60,000 miles (~ 97000 km).

I had a LOT of surging and dying with DCT after a plug swap. I reset all adaptations after that and it's the best the car has run since I've owned it. I'm currently at 45k with a 2013 135is.

Ah, the joy of owning a manual gearbox. But good info on the DCT.

Nice to hear you're enjoying your DCT. Seems like most people who post about their DCT are complaining about the throttle lag, idle fluctuation and lurching forward issues. I'm posting to report that my DCT has been working flawlessly from the start. No issues at all for me.

Awesome transmission as far as I'm concerned. Shifts faster than I ever could. I like to drive it in manual mode with the gear selector to the left and the sport button pressed, I think it's the best way to enjoy this transmission. Really wakes the car up imo. Auto mode is too boring for me.

PS - guess it's convenient though to have auto mode if you're stuck in rush hour traffic.

I've never had this many options in different ways to drive a car before, lol

I'll use auto when I feel like cruising.

Switch the lever over to the left for Sport mode when I'm feeling frisky but want it to shift for me.

Or just using the paddle shifters to get a little more burble on downshifts when decelerating.

It's definitely a fun car to drive!
