Question about depos
So I'm looking to get some depos for my 128i, but my dad is warning me that if they aren't installed 100% correctly the seal could be ruined and they could leak into the engine bay causing rust and into the headlight unit themselves. Is this true about the depos? Has anyone had them leak?

I have a set but had them retrofitted with LED rings so they were re-sealed and no issues to date.
From my time on the forum I would say that the older versions had leaking issues. I'm not sure about the new V2s -- if it's just upgraded rings or if they also fixed the way they seal the headlight.

Best thing I would do is take some silicone and apply all around the seal of the headlight and spread it with your finger. That will ensure that the seal is made properly.
