Except the 125 as pictured. I'm well aware that most gauges read far higher than a car is capable (there is a 140mph speedo in my Fiat for fucks sake).
My point was the difference between the 125 and 135. Wouldn't you expect the 125 to show 8000 as well? |

I'm pretty sure the both the 135i and the 128i will have the multi-info display in the center section (which includes the MPG, estimated miles till empty tank, etc.)

If its the same as the 335, then its definitely oil temp, and not water temp. Cause it takes a good 5-10 minutes of driving to get up to temp on the gauge. Water only takes a couple minutes. Oil temp is the important one for this engine, not water.

I agree. I'm definitely glad it's there. I personally could care less that there is no MPG gauge. This isn't a escort, it's the devil in sheep's clothing.

You can just use the digital display to cycle to the MPG realtime gauge Crowley

I think it's amazing that we still have any analog gauges at all. I'd have predicted 20 years ago that any self respecting sportscar would have something like a STACK display. Really surprising to me that digital panels are not only not common, they are almost non-existent

That's because they suck for anything other than just a speed display. The human eye is good at processing speed of movement, like a tach needle swinging, and the digital stuff doesn't give it the same information. I can't recall a sports car in automotive history that was well recived with a digital dash. |
