I'm thinking single dual side exhaust ala 335i.

Why is everybody's thinking that a quad setup is so cool ?
That's marketing bull$§%t. Too heavy, and useless since there's a 2-in-one before. Better remove some weight, those moderns cars are all way too heavy. Gimme a M1 with an NA 3.8L reving up to 8400 rpm and a weight below 1400 kg. |

-1...I'm also thinking on a car this size with a twin turbo 6...quads make no sense unless its at least a true dual exhaust. Aside from aesthetics, I'm more interested in the specs of the engine / curb weight / and performance numbers, now how many tailpipes it has...

I have a feeling it will be duals. As a hommage to the original M3´s (e30 and e36). This is BMW, not OTT Lamborghini and the likes. I could be wrong of course, but duals would be !

I am really surprised how many people are hung up on the quads. The number of pipes sticking out of the back of the car is the least of my concerns.

There's always a few of these opinions. Additionally, SCOTT has stated before that 18's are the best wheel size for the M1--so even if these are 19's, I doubt we will see them.
