Can anyone speak to actual selling price vs. their list price? I wonder how firm they hold those prices.

They are a car dealer, like any other. They presumably try to maximize their profit from all the income streams available to them, which would include the trade-ins, financing, insurance, extended warranties, and any additional things they can sell. Maybe they don't have these other income streams, but if so, it would shock me.

If a given car sits around for too long, they presumably negotiate more than if they put a car up and get lots of immediate interest.

They don't negotiate prices at all. I tried to get them to take $250 off a Z4M once and they said no and their policy is firm pricing. The car was still there about 2 months later...

I can tell you they had my car up for abit over 20% more than they paid for it. Sat on it for about 8-9 months, and then it disappeared.

There is always someone who's got the cash to pay the premium and not worry to much about it.

We need those people

The owner of EAG was on Matt Farah's podcast a few weeks back... it was really interesting to hear about how the business got started and how they operate. I recommend people check it out.

Pretty soon we'll be able to list our 1Ms for $100K, and point at EAG listings showing that our car is a bargain!
