Turner Motor Sports LED Angel eyes

Anyone running the TMS angel eyes on their 1M Coupe? Are they pretty bright?

Pics are welcomed.

These are what I'm talking about:

Snertz, you are so right! They even used the same pictures for most of the examples.

So what's the way to go - LUX?

Another vote for the BMS ones. These LED's are hard to capture correctly on camera (let alone an Iphone) but look great in person.

+1 on the BMS ones, I too have a set due to arrive this week. I recall there being a comparison pic between the 4 LED BMS ones and Lux V3 and there didn't appear to be any difference in light amount or pattern.

How does BMS compare to LUX 5000k? Are either of them as bright as the OEM halos on new 3-series? Comparison pics?

The ones they currently sell are 6k but they're also working on a 5k variation I believe. Unless you go the custom OSS Design's route where tons of individual LED's are implanted in the headlight housing, these cheaper versions will never match the brightness of the OEM LED halos.

I just did some research, the TMS ones aren't so great for the 1-series b/c they use a 180 degree setup (positioning of light emitters). According to this post, http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...43&postcount=1, the design of the 1M requires an LED that has 90 degree emitters.

90 degrees, aka the BMS ones will work.

Yup! I didn't make that explicitly clear! The LUX ones are 90 degree setups too.

Did the BMS LED emitters line up with the fiber optics like here? http://pds.exblog.jp/pds/1/201108/03...840_535983.jpg

Yes the Lux are too, but are about twice the price, and from all the pics I saw, i honestly couldn't tell that much different between the two, so I went with my pocketbook and got the BMS ones, on the alignment, I honestly can't say, but they are bright and fairly even on the distribution of light around the halos.

+1 for the BMS ones. I had the 2 led version OP linked, and swapped them out yesterday for the BMS ones. They are at least 30 percent brighter. The 2 LED ones aren't terrible and they do get washed out in bright sunlight but you can get them for about 35 shipped. However I would suggest just going for the BMS ones since you'll probably want brighter ones after seeing all the new OEM ones.
