That's great to hear.
I have 12mm spacers all around and don't want to remove 'em when I finally do suspension.

I adopted a lonely 128i Vert w/6MT

Thats what I did for mine today, provided it a nice, new home, where it will be loved by a guy who enjoys cars, and driving!

Well. Long story

Initially thought the noise coming from the engine bay was a belt and pulley. Mechanic replaced those. Then the noise didn't go away, so he thought it was the alternator. Tried that. Didn't work. Finally realized it was the PVC. He swapped the old alternator back and did the PVC.

He's a good guy. Doesn't price gouge like other mechanics. He didn't even charge for the pulley or labor because the car was there for 4 days.

Power washed it; go to close to some stone chips on the front bumper and pulled off some clear coat.

My sister and 10 year old daughter were in the back, top down. On the freeway onramp they stuck their hands in the air and began pretend - screaming like they're riding a roller coaster. Just before the apex I nailed it, then wound out the steering. This time the roller coaster screams were real!
They couldn't stop laughing "do it again. Do it again!"

I love my car!

Side note - my sister's husband drives a Miata.

Also got the footrest, but apparently I have to buy the non-M Sport one and then on top of that drill the Performance bit. Idiots from Munich.

No pics because the rest of the car is still filthy,
But installed the Memorial Day Sale gloss-black kidney grills this evening. Look great above the Legacy license plate.

I also added the BMW Performance pedals, but I opted for the stainless steel ones that just slip on instead. I also figured since I already had the M-sport pedal that I wold be better off leaving it alone.

Aren't the slip on pedals notorious for coming off? They look good though

I'm not aware of that.
Only been a couple months, but mine have showed no sign of budging.
They're tough enough to install I can't imagine where they'd go.

I've never heard of that. Have you heard about the factory original pedals sliding off? Because they install the exact same way as the BMW Performance stainless steel pedals.

Well, granted the slip on ones I've read about are for VW's and Audi's.

If these ones are promising, I definitely need to get a set. Where'd you guys get yours?

So I guess you work at Kia? I thought it was a little funny with a BMW parked in a spot labeled "Kia Design". Also, you are lucky enough to have a designated parking spot at work?

Didn't find 'em at HPAshop so I defaulted to ECS.
Prices bounce around quite a bit on these. May want to check out one of the bmw parts warehouses.

Ah yes, that explains it

I've had mine for about 6 months and I'm quite happy with them. They're holding up well after about 3,000 miles. There are two types, Aluminum and Stainless Steel. The aluminum ones appear to screw in place while the Stainless Steel slip on like the factory pedals. They also feature different designs. ECS has them incorrectly titled.

Aluminum (more sporty design):

Stainless Steel (note that the entire DBW gas pedal is replaced):

+1, prices definitely fluctuate a bit. I found them on ECS but then purchased the SS ones from Amazon for $110.

I paid $2500 at my local indy (authorized Bosch dealer {car was hydro-locked on cyl. 1, had fuel on 2, 5, and 6 pistons}), but they said if they took a dump within 2 years, they would cover parts AND LABOR. To me it was worth it, since I'm new to BMWs, but to the experienced maybe not so much. My car is also my daily so YMMV. If it wasn't a daily you'd bet your kiester id DIY and save $1k ...

Mine was so bad that when I unloaded it from the trailer fuel was leaking out the exhaust. I just bout it 3 months ago and I just got off the phone saying that when they changed the HPFP maybe that wasn't the only problem and they may have stop fixing the issue to soon. anyway They will do it all for $1300 so looks like i'll have to take them up on that one. Thats all 6 plus seals and the like as well as plugs...
