Looks like it will compliment the 128i better?
Anyone else agree?

Too bad, cause the one in the ebay photo, without the little side wings, would have been a great option. |

Nik got mine from me...
We had a bit of a chat about where to grind it down based on my test fit and then Nik went away and did all the hard work. I knew it could be made to fit with a bit of work but I was also sure that it would look WAY better on BSM than AW.... Looks fantastic and I'm gonna just get another Kerscher one... |

Modification was pretty easy once I knew what I had to do. I used a angle grinder to cut a wedge off the part that restricts the fitment (trust me you will know which part when you see it) then smoothed it off with an orbital sander. The plastic is quite thick and can handle the grinder! just take your time and you will get it. Also be prepared to have to screw into your existing bumper as the screws and holes provided are designed to 'self tap' some align with the existing where as others do not.

A lip like this is what I'm looking for. Made of PU and less the 300.
I found this add on Ebay. Notice the fitment on the car is great, but the actual lip at the bottom is different! The lip on the car has a little kink in the lip right about the center grill part on each side. Where the hell is this lip and where can I get one! |

Yea it's hard because these guys pricing is more in line with what these parts should cost without the BMW tax, so the search continues for good fitment.

Are you sure? The Hamann dosent seem to have the two "humps" that this one does, or is it an optical illusion / photochop? I actually like that better then the Hamann.

I'm talking about the car itself. It has a real Hamann lip. This replica is just using that picture to fool people. That picture has been around way before this lip came out on the market. Look at my Scopione thread where I use that picture as an option for the poll.

Often times when sellers are selling replica lips, they will take pictures of a car with an authentic lip, and post it as if it's the replica. Hence the reason the lips are fitting the way the fit in the picture.
