I washed it, it was gross from sitting near trees for a week while I was on vacation. Now it's clean again!

5-1/2 hours of nanoskin scrubbing to remove that damn overspray... And that's just all of the horizontal surfaces. I'll have to take on the vertical surfaces another weekend.

Even though I used the medium grade nanoskin sponge, it still took some vigorous scrubbing to remove the overspray. There's got to be a quicker, more efficient way to remove that crap.

Time to start using my car cover when I'm at work.

E46s never had stock angel eyes. Whatever the 7 series was around hat generation had them and then the 5 series.

Today I activated the rear fog lights. Removed the left driver side A/C vent unscrewed two T20 screws located under the vent. Removed another one down the plastic dash panel holding the headlighta control. Removed the button located under the front fog light button. The button has four taps removed reinstalled everything and now the button works and the lights look nice.

I have no idea why they're not made to be useable in the U.S bulbs already there and button exists just stupid taps around the button from the inside making it not functional.

LCI E39 from late 2000 was the first BMW with Angel Eyes. E46's never had AE's.
I guess IRI-I Recall Incorrectly! Thanks! I do remember that the aftermarket halo rings on the E36 looked cheesy. I resisted the temptation (what little there was) to do it to mine.

245/45-17 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's. Very happy with them so far...

Doing it for years apparently. My M2 is the same, button was there just needed to be coded and tabs removed. Didn't know 1 series also had it.

EDIT: Just did this

On the M2 you also had to activate it by coding. The 1er just needs the switch modded. Thanks for the pointers on taking it apart. Took 15 minutes.

I installed the Whiteline 2-piece RSFBs. Removal was very easy after I built the tool I needed (see my description of the tool here). Installing the bushings was fairly easy, though I had to use a jack to get the inner sleeve to slide through on the front bushings. Overall it took about 6 hours to figure out the tool, machine a piece to strengthen it, and do the bushings. Complicated a bit by the fact we only had 1 floor jack, but we figured it out with some taller jackstands to help. Now that I have the tool, I could likely do this in 2 hours.

Can't tell a difference driving around town, but on track the bushings should help. Next is the Koni + Eibach kit!

Really? I felt it immediately, better. Take a long sweeper with moderate acceleration. I feel it most as the rear is more settled instead of feeling loose.

Check this thread Josh.. no need for European switch. The stock one has all needed just like the M2. You just need to pull switch out and basically cut the stop tabs off.

Let's Euro Headlight Switch the 135 (enable Rear Foglights) https://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=209558

I only put about 5 miles on it last night and none of it was aggressive driving really. I have a 128i, I've heard others say they don't feel it much either since we have lower power. "Moderate acceleration" in the midrange for a 135i is likely more than WOT in a 128i

I hate conflicting info. I've read on here that headlights that mention 'halogen only' will not fit xenon cars. Then I have people in 135i facebook group saying he used specd lights plug and play with no issues. Is there a hardware limitation people can prove that these lights won't work on xenon cars as in the harness is completely different? Is it just that you lose ADH? I've seen a number of decent looking aftermarket lights that mention they are halogen only but I keep asking myself, why? The aftermarket lights are xenon/HID just mentioning that they can only go on halogen cars

New flat bottom and top steering wheel with paddles, having the trim redone in carbon fiber and thought about doing very thin tricolor striping on some of it, alcantera cluster surround and shift/ebrake boots, and lord willing some Recaro Sportster CS
