Just purchased a cat-back aFe exhaust. Golf tee mod only does so much. This will provide a much deeper tone and some more rasp at the top end which I love. Not to mention, just plain louder =D Got for just over $900 CAD as well locally. I'll provide pictures once it arrives.

Swapped out my E36 TC Kline camber plates for new Turner race plates. The old TCKs were fixed caster and were limiting my camber to around -2.2~-2.5. Needed the old caster setting for maximum fitment.

I had an interesting issue, however, the driver side plate was able to register more negative camber initially because the passenger side strut tower had more of that weld-looking seam sealer protruding into top plate/camber plate space. I was able to wedge it in and use the slight flexibility to get my desired setting.

That, and Manzo toe arms went in last week. Time to get aligned and mount my 17x9 ARC8s and 255 star specs

Got my new plates! It's happening, the 128i will wake up in 2017 and reclaim the role as the ultimate driving machine from my GTI.

I stopped by on my way to work and looked at mine longingly through the gates where it's being held for repairs. Reached out and called it's name, whimpered a little, and sulked back to my rental car.

Do I say congratulations?? Lol. I've only been to Cali a couple times and the first time I went it rained for the first time in MONTHS and people were losing their minds. It was Halloween a few years ago. Everyone was running around in the streets in the rain wearing costumes and my GF and I were just enjoying the empty bars lol

Congratulations will do considering we're in a drought here in SoCal. Soon the showers will stop and we'll be in the 70s and 80s... then the 90s and 100s come. Ugh!

Spring is in full effect!!!
-Took off the car cover to gaze upon the mesmerizing deep sea blue before my eyes.
-Lifted the trunk and reconnected the battery, there was a spark between us.
-And with a start the car gave a roar of a yawn as I awoke it out of hibernation.
-The more it breathed the fresh air, the greater the fire burned in its heart as it hungered for more speed! But all in due time, all in due time.

Did the CDV delete today. Amazing. And don't bother with buying an aftermarket drilled out CDV. Just plug the hose into the connector directly on the steel clutch line. It fits perfectly and has plenty of length. My 1-2 shifts are perfect now and rev matching and heel toeing is easier than ever. The CDV is a damn handicap for quick driving.

Not sure.
Left her at the airport for a week.
Now -
Acting like limp mode- no boost.
Stalled twice, and rev's dropped precariously another time upon clutch disengagement.
But no idiot light and idrive service check says all systems are fine.

Think a dealer could pull a code anyway?

Weird.

Stopped for supplies. Shut her down.

Fired back up.
Idle is normal and boost is back!
Are these things British???

Did M3 guide rods. Took 1-2 hrs including putting car up on stands, etc. Had a spot of bother trying to get the bolts to line up properly and go through the holes in the subframe, but jacking up and down eventually got it done. 100 Nm on the 18 mm bolts.

Haven't had a chance to drive it yet, but I think I'm gonna do that right now!

Suspect you're right.
Rained most of the time, too. Can't blame 'er.

But there's no need for jealousy. Had a slushbox na Renegade for the week. REALLY missed the 1.
