But, you did see the other cars people are suggesting, right?

An M3, and M5(!). They're certainly no pump-crushers, especially the M5, which is almost identical to the 760's mileage.

I think the M760iL would be delightfully sublime on the Autobahn.

I would go with an M2 Competition. Same engine as an M3/M4 but much more tossable .

Try to get a competition package car. There the top speed is at 305km/h+. An Alpine B6 reaches 340km/h.
The green hell is just 5h from Munich.

The i8 has terrible top end pull - not exactly what you're looking for on the autobahn. Take the m5 or m6.

E60 M5 hitting 330kph screaming at 8,000 rpm is better than life. Well, better than mine

I'll take an Alpina B5.

Just wanted to point out because I saw the first thing... the i8 definitely not a super car.

I ended up choosing an M3!

It's always been a dream of mine to own one...so I ended up choosing with my heart.

Took a beautiful drive south through the German and Austrian Alps!

Any Bimmer will do the job it just depends what you want. The bigger cars will cruise silently at high speeds.

I like more of a raw feeling so I'd roll with the likes of the ///M2.

With that being said, nothing can ever touch the E-platform cars when it comes to driving character. Those were surgical instruments with tactile steering. 1///M please!
