Should cover everything you need to know fitment wise for the E82's.
Yeah the 17X9 ET42, just curious how much actual camber/rolled fenders are needed for that.

What suspension do you have? For 245's a 17x8.5 is plenty. I've used 255's on 8.5's without issue (on a track E82 I tracked) running Koni Yellows w/ Swift springs. I had a lot of negative camber though.

However, on my street car, a 128i with ~1.5* I can fit the same wheel + tire setup on the car. This is with stock suspension though. Rear fitment is easy, front is a bit trickier.

TC Klein's with their camber plates, and a few M3 stuff, 2.5* front, 1.5* rear.
Apex saying the rear needs to be rolled for their 17X9 though?

I wouldn't think so. I used 18x8.5 ET52 with 255's. Rear fitment was no problem. Used a 10mm spacer to push it out because of the extra room and still wasn't worried about rear fender clearance. I think with a 245 on a 17x9 ET42 with no spacer you should be fine. You could always roll the fenders to be safe..

I still think the front is going to give you a harder time then the rear - depends on what length front spring you got and the ride height you want to run.

Yeah I had a 17X9 ET52 with 255 tire with a 18MM spacer in the front, it was tight, but it worked. Could probably go with a 15MM spacer, but that seemed to be the absolute limit.
