Where do you guys hook up/store your iphones?

I hook mine up to USB port under arm rest, wrap cord around parking brake handle, and place phone on its side between console and parking brake handle. I am afraid it will start tearing up the side of the console, and if I brake hard, it goes flying onto the floorboard.

Any other suggestions? I don't want to use the sleeve inside the armrest - too much of a pain every time in and out of the car. USB drive is not an option because I am streaming Pandora most of the time.

I just had someone break into my car to get a crappy iPod nano I had in the center armrest. I charge my phone from the center console but hide the cord in the dash now.
I imported all my tunes on a USB from the dash.

When there is no passenger, I put my phone and/or vaping equipment in the passenger seat between the seat and the extension piece. The extension is set so there is about a half an inch space. Does not move during hard braking or acceleration.

I ordered the car without the smokers package specifically for this reason, throw my phone in that storage space which is usually occupied by the ashtray and lighter

I used to put mine in the pouch attached underneath the armrest. But since most of my drives are short, I just leave it in the small open compartment under the arm rest.

I use Proclipusa's iPhone holder in all of my cars. I also ran the power cable under the dash molding towards the fuse area behind the glovebox with add-a-circuit.

hook it up into the armrest USB and I just put mine on the passenger seat...lol....sometimes in the little gap between the thigh extension and the main seat.

i really don't want those mounting systems....hate clutter on the console/dash

I have a USB extension cord plugged into the console USB port and then ran the wire underneath the lip of console. When you get to the panel next to the accelerator, pop the plastic fasteners with a interior trim tool (cheapos from Harbor Freight work) and thread the cord to the bottom of the dash. Then I plug my lightning cable into that. I have a Mountek holder http://www.amazon.com/Mountek-nGroov...t+phone+holder
to hold the iPhone. Works well and all the steering wheel controls work too. The Mountek doesn't block the air vent and since I never use the CD, it's a pretty good setup. One thing I did was race the screw that came with the Mountek with a cap head screw. It doesn't stick out as far and block the radio's display.

I do much the same... Have a 64GB iPhone 4S permanently in the pouch under the armrest... It uses iTunes Match and Wi-Fi Sync so I can push music at it OTA without even taking it out of the car....

Used to use an iPod Classic. More space but it was much slower to scan through the library because no SSD...

I have my iPhone 5S linked via Bluetooth for Phone calls and streaming Spotify. That goes in the Kenu Dock and I have one of these in the 12v socket under the armrest to connect a Lightning cable to if I ever need to charge the phone:

I had one for the iPhone 4 but almost never used it because if I don't leave my phone in my pocket it will only be because I need/want access to the screen - for spotify or similar...

I keep wanting to get the snap-in for the 5 but 2 things have stopped me...

1: The 5/5s from factor is now two years old and it took BMW over 18 months to release the full media version of this snap-in - making it redundant almost before it was released. (I'm doubtful that they will release one for the 6 because I think the phone is too big to fit in that space - especially the 6+)

2: I know that I just won't use it...

Edit: It's also SERIOUSLY overpriced for what is basically just a freaking dock.
