I had no idea they would be that much... I figured they would be like all the other oem parts... Worth Nothing... I really just want the base for a mirror project... Might just use my own if that's how much they are going to cost.

it would be hard to find someone who would take apart the mirror and sell just the base. best bet is to buy the base from the dealer

Maybe someone with a mirror that had been damaged but the base was still good... just need it for the mounting points.
