Custom pro tune for 2012 N55 (April 12' DME date)
Anyone have a tune for this DME yet? COBB specifically...

That I know of, there are no OTS maps that will mitigate the need for a one-time bench flash. MHD does have OTS maps for use once the DME has been bench flashed. Its not very difficult to remove the DME and send it to someone like Twisted Tuning if you're good at following directions and have a torque wrench.

Your only other option is to go JB4, unfortunately. Dinan is great but a little less aggressive and more expensive, I see you've already gone down that road. JB4 is good at best. Has nice features and failsafes but I didnt love the way the car drove. It was all or nothing, either I was in the boost heavily or no boost at all. I have much more control over the car with the MHD tune. I'm soon adding meth, and when I do I'll be back on the JB4. Planning on having twisted give me a custom BEF which I'm hoping will even things out a bit. Good luck! |
