Dash Cam Wiring
Hi all,
I've recently bought a 1 series and a dash cam and I would like to add one to the other. The cam comes with a 12v socket power source but I'm looking to wire it in. Are there any easy or simple places to hard wire it? Cheers! |

The best option is to wire it directly to the fuse box behind the glovebox. Pick up an add-a-fuse and connect to an accessory socket or something else that only gets power when the car is on.

You can use fuse #83 for always-on with a medium size add-a-fuse or fuse #08 with a mini add-a-fuse for only when the car is on.
