MP3 CD Player - Tracks skip/play for 2 seconds

Everything was working fine, then suddenly MP3 CD tracks will play for 2 seconds, then go to the next track, play for 2 seconds then on to the next and on and on.

I've tried a different MP3CD and it's still doing it.

USB-MP3's are playing fine,

Any ideas?

somehow fixed itself... not sure if there's a 'scan' button option anywhere, but after using the other key fob/settings, and switching back to mine, all was well again...

The problem has come and gone two more times. Each time everything is fine, I turn off the car and when I start back up it skips tracks again. No rhyme or reason so far.
