Focal Integration Series v. Gladen One 201

It's finally time to start the upgrade to the disappointing HiFi Stereo in my 2012 135 M Sport. I'm preparing to purchase new speakers and I could use some additional information/assistance.

Has anyone heard the Gladen One 201 BMW Extreme set-up in a comparison to the Focal Integration Series for BMW? Is this even a fair comparison?

I'm not planning to upgrade the amp at this point in time but will consider the Bimmer-Tech option the next time a group buy comes around.

I'm looking for a clean plug and play set up that will provide a significant improvement in the quality of sound and I will be attempting the install myself. First up will be the front and perhaps rear speakers followed by amp and the subs if necessary.

Thanks in advance...

Don't be silly - do the amp first. Many people on here report that changing the amp with the existing speakers makes a huge different in itself.
I'm also about 70% sure here but i think the hifi speakers are the same as the ones on the logic7/Harmon Kardon. So all they need is a good amp, maybe a DSP and it will make all the difference.

No, they are not the same. I have both HiFi and Top HiFi, and part no. are different, and they sound a bit different. Top HiFi speakers require a little more power, which is why the amp is needed.

for a clean yet relatively plug and play (thats cheap) just get a 4 or 6 channel and a JL cleansweep. For most (give or take) throwing more power at the factory speakers makes WORLDS of a difference...but also even if you went aftermarket speaker you can purchase the OEM connectors and splice them to expand your options immensely.

I've heard both. Get the Gladen Extreme!

I can't speak to the difference between the Focal and Gladen..but I can say I went with Focal and It's amazing. It's not cheap(price) but I'm super happy with the results. Below is a link to the thread I started last year. Good luck with whatever you decide.
