I will admit I just skimmed this thread but why don't we just match the UK setup? Don't they have a plaque similar to the one int he link above?

I'd rather my car not look like a cheap bowling trophy. I am not impressed with what the Euro Guys got on the ashtray cover. Looks cheap to me.

Smile UPDATE:

The OEM trim piece is going to be re-scanned with the most accurate laser head available and fully modeled by the end of the week. I will then email the file off to the factory that is going to be producing it for us. I should have a thread with actual trim pieces available for purchasing within the next 3weeks. Thanks for your guys patience, these things take time, especially if you want them done right.

Also, still looking into doing the finish in the aluminized metal. Two text options "ONE of 740" only and the full "ONE of 740 BMW Motorsport Limited...." as well. If the aluminized finish is not available or cost is to high I will try to offer 2 of the more popular colors.

That's great. I'd definitely go for one of the aluminumized versions with "ONE of 740."

Thanks!

I'm probably in for any decent design, so put me down, just PM when you decide on details.

I'll likely be in for whatever the final design is...

What's the consensus thus far?

Hope you guys like!

Slight change on the text layout that might make both camps happy(ONE of 740 only vs the full ONE of 740 BMW Motorsport....) 3D modeling is completed and off to the factory for mold production.

Looks very nice. Just one question, how easy is it to swap the stock piece for the new trim?
