M135i xDrive thoughts?

Hi, I've been looking at F20/F22 models for a while, and today I found a new listing for a 2015 BMW 1 Series 135i xDrive with 59,000 km which is very well equipped: HK, heated steering wheel, sunroof, adaptive led headlights and so on.

I’ve read quite a bit online about the N55 engine, both good and bad, so I'm wondering what I should expect. Could it really spin the rod bearings, as I've read? I’m not planning to make any modifications to the engine; the only thing I might consider in the future is a downpipe for the exhaust sound. Otherwise, I won’t be doing any performance mods.

I don’t have any plans to take it to the track (or maybe 1/2 times just for feeling???), but I do plan to enjoy it as much as possible, from accelerations in the city to driving on curvy roads, as I live in a mountainous country in Europe. What do you think? I know there’s also the M140/240i option, but prices for those are around €6000-7000 bigger for a model with relatively low mileage like this 135i.

My concern is that I’ve read mixed reviews online about the N55, from rod bearing issues to oil sump problems during high G cornering. What do you think?
