Performance Spoiler

So I picked up a performance spoiler Similiar to the ones posted in the link in this section. I just got it in my body color.

They included what looks to be 3M double-side tape, but for you guys doing this or have done it already.....would you use the tape or get the "beta-link" adhesive to put this on the car.

Obviously I don't want it coming off, and I can't deal with any gaps or ends that may raise as I'm too OCD about it.

The tape looks pretty thick, so I just wasn't sure how much it would compress even after warming it up some to make it more pliable.

Thanks for any insight.

I used black Polyurethane adhesive on my black trunk spoiler. I have it now for about 4 years and it's still rock solid.

Ppl says that 3M tapes are good but if you have no intention removing it in the future I would use that Poly. adhesive.

I used the included 3M tape and it has held up fine.

The gap is very minimal at the edges (maybe a 1mm) and can only be seen if you squat down and catch the light just right.

Use the Betalink. I tried 3M adhesive and it's already pulling up. I'm using the AutoTechnik spoiler which is a good clone, but it still needs to be pulled down on the ends. I suppose if your spoiler is an absolutely perfect fit, you might get away with adhesive tape. If it needs to be pressed down at all, however, it will eventually pull up unless you use Betalink.
