Rear fender liner hole

Put on spacers and my tires rubbed a hole in my rear fender liner. Would this be and issue or cause any rust? Its been like this for over a year already

Depends on how much. I would personally recommend rolling the rear fenders.

I took off the spacers and but there's just a small hole. Not planning to roll. Might just run smaller spacer.
