▀▄ eas - e82 photoshoot

Just executed these shots of our e82. One side of the car has matte black 18" VMR CSL's, and the other has gunmetal. The car is lowered on KWV3's as well

That interior is also pretty functional. With the Recaros (and all necessary hardware) installed and the rear seat delete, the car lost about 120 pounds.

We also swapped out the 60 pound stock battery and installed a 15 pound braille battery and a 2.5 pound Macht Schnell battery tray.

So total weight savings for those 3 mods comes close to 160 pounds.

How do the seats affect the electronics? Is there a code for the passenger sensor, or did you remove the factory one and swap it into the new seat? And plans for harness instead of the oem belts?

The Macht Schnell OC3 module is installed to bypass the Occupancy Sensor.

Harnesses will be added as the car sees a bit more track time.

Awesome looking ride. I love your black-out theme but I think the front end would have looked better if you wouldn't have cut out the mesh in front of the intercooler.

Looks great, best pictures I've seen so far with 18" VB3's!!

Can I ask what size tyres you are running and did you need any fender work to squeeze those in?

Loving the seats and the 45 lbs battery saving is ingenious

Edit: Just read that this 15 lbs battery has only 20 Ah compared to 70 Ah for the standard battery. Will this be sufficient?

Very clean... Looks awesome! That is some nice weight savings. I saw the gigantor stock battery in my trunk over the weekend and had similar thoughts. Any plans to or have you already also dropped some unsprung weight?

The tires are 225 fronts and 255 rears. They required very substantial fender rolling to fit them in there. As far as the battery goes, this car is Steve's daily driver and he has been using this battery for over 6 months now with no problems to report. We also sell 17 lbs and 20 lbs batteries with more amps on tap.
