Trunk won't open.
2011 E88. Both Key fobs stopped working for the trunk months ago. Now the trunk handle AND the trunk switch in the driver's door jam all stopped working. YES, I checked the valet switch in the glove box. No Joy. I can not open the trunk. Does anyone have a wiring diagram? Thanks.

OP I think you can take out one of the rear parcel shelf speakers, the left side one, and be able to drop one of the split seat backs. Not sure if that will help in the short term

Isn’t there an option from the rear seat? You can fold it down and pull the truck cable triangular hook?

On the coupe you can fold down the middle seat back section, remove the black divider and reach into the trunk with a hook to pull the triangular emergency truck release. Not sure if convertibles are the same. Top up obviously. That just gets you access. Never had a problem with the fobs not working. Mine is stiff to open and needs a hard pull to open. Good luck.
