I remember those days, buying some $500 purse just to be unappreciated the next day.

Way too much money, pretty much all holidays are a waste of money. Just spend time with each other should be sufficient.

If you want to treat Hallmark Day as a special holiday, that's fine. But i still maintain if you have to spend money on a woman for this day, you're doing it wrong.
