Convertible top glass coming off of the cloth!

Hey Guys,

I have a 2009 Silver 128i Convertible and a few months back the glass at the back that is attached to the Convertible cloth got loose and was falling off.

I took my car to a Glass repair/Auto upholstery shop in Dallas, TX and they did an "Ok" job to fix this and charged me $200 for the repairs.

I have attached the before and after pictures of the job to this thread. Is there any way that they could have done a better job than this? It has been only 1 day since I got the car back and hence can i go back to them and ask them to clean the cloth or do something better because I am not too happy with the work.

Thanks.

Hi guys,

Do you have any thoughts on this job? poor, fair or well done?

I got a car wash today and it does not look too bad?

Anyone here has had something fixed like this before?

Thanks!

I would take it to a trimmer and get them to clean it all up then work there magic with some Sikaflex.

I never go anywhere near the edges with a pressure washer exactly for this reason
